A Washington member of FreeRepublic (http://www.FreeRepublic.com) joined
other Pacific Northwesterners in the latest of ongoing local rallies to Support
Our Troops. This time it was held in the middle of the small but historic
town of Carnation, Washington. Originally founded as the town of Tolt, the
rising fame of the Carnation milk company whose R&D farm is close by
(pictured below), resulted in the town's name change.
The rally was small, but busy. As seems to be ever the case, there
are the personal connections. In this case, Pfc. Joseph M. Duggan is
proudly represented, by his mother and others:

The biker crowd was represented -- this fellow made the long trip from Marysville
up north just to be here:
And though small, the energy of the rallyers (and the response from those
driving by) was enormous.
